Merry Christmas!grace2flogo

I hope that you are having a joyous Christmas season. I want to remind you that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus (duh), but also remind you that we are celebrating that Christ is IN YOU as a believer. He is being born in the lives of those who place their trust (faith, belief) IN HIM.

That concept has me pumped up. This Sunday we will be looking at another traditional Christmas passage. It is found in Luke 2:8-18 and we see how some shepherds respond to a divine proclamation (last week we saw Mary’s response). There is something in there that is incredible to me– and I think it may be to you as well.

If you attend g2f, check the important announcements below…

Looking forward to Sunday!

Grace and peace,

THIS WEEK: Sunday, 11/22

**** Remember that our official starting time is now 10:00am****

9:30am in the Horizon’s Room (where we have service)
Worship Service
10:00—Service—Shepherds(Luke 2:8-18)

Our Christmas Eve Swervice will be at 5:00pm at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel (we we always meet). It should run about 1 hour and will be absolutely fantastic! (Oh yeah, it will take place on December 24th)

This is the last weekend we will be collecting toys for Christmas gifts for kids at Saint Mary’s Home for Disabled Children.

Another cool thing is that we are joining with the kids who go to Young Life Capurnaum in this project. In fact, it was their idea. Disabled folks giving to disabled children who are orphans.

If you are interested in participating with us, it is best to go to and scroll down to look at “Children’s Wish List” on the right-hand side (there are some restrictions on what kinds of gifts the children can receive– no stuffed animals, no clothes with sequins or studs, etc.).

I am hoping to have our kids pitch in and all go together to get some things.

Finally, we will take any donated items to the Capurmaum Christmas party on Monday Dec. 14 at Holy Family Catholic Church– and from there they we be given to Saint Mary’s.

If you have any questions about this project, the Capurnaum Christmas party of motorcycles contact Jim Howley
