February 7 News

grace2flogo-300x150Well, I hope you all made it through the “Blizzard of 20-10”. I gotta admit it was fun, but I’m happy to see the snow melting away (how do they do it in Minnesota?!?).

Since we missed last week, the “News” is the same… So I’ll just reprint it so you know how to prepare (BUT be sure to look below for “Happenings” at Grace2F.

This Sunday we continue to look at the life of Abram (get ready though, after Sunday we get to call him Abraham!).Our main passage this week will be Genesis 17. But to understand this event, we will also look at what Paul says about it in the New Testament (like we did last week when we heard Paul’s view of Abram, Sarai, and Hagar in Galatians 4). So you may want to check out Romans 4 and Colossians 2:9-15.

This is an excellent study to see how God’s story flows from Old to New Testaments in an incredible way.

On another note, there is a sign at the check in desk of the hotel that indicates what room we are meeting in. If you ever go to our normal meeting place (The Horizons Room) and we’re not there and you can’t find us– check out the sign to see where to go. We don’t get bumped often, but last week the Army moved us (and it may be the same deal this week).

Looking forward to Sunday!

Grace and peace,

Grace2F Happenings…

Just wanted to provide an update  about our PIN Ministry event last Sunday.PINMinistrylogo

Although we were challenged by the inclement weather, a Grace2F team braved the elements and helped serve a hot meal to some very cold folks. Dallas Stamper (the head of PIN) didn’t think that very many folks would showe up because the city had opened shelters over the weekend. However, the people just kept coming!

We will partner with PIN again soon for a Saturaday breakfast or a Sunday dinner and service, so keep checking the Calendar for the latest info!
