Message: Jesus and the Woman at the Well-Living Worship & Relationship
We are continuing our look at the story of Jesus and the Woman at the Well. Last week, Jesus talked to her about Living Water. This week, we will learn about worship and relationship- and see that the same things that changed her life can change ours as well!
To prepare, read John 4: 1-42. We will also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper together.Looking forward to Sunday!
Grace and peace,
Doug

Message: Jesus and the Woman at the Well– Living Water
When you walk with Jesus, sometimes you go to places you wouldn’t expect and meet people you wouldn’t normally associate with. That’s what happens in John 4:1-42 when Jesus takes us into Samaria to meet a woman with a less than stellar reputation.
In this message, we hear Jesus talk about living water– something we all desire and need.
When you walk with Jesus, sometimes you go to places you wouldn’t expect and meet people you wouldn’t normally associate with. That’s what happens in John 4:1-42 when Jesus takes us into Samaria to meet a woman with a less than stellar reputation.
This week we are walking with Jesus into some rough territory. We will going through Samaria and it has us and the disciples a little confused about Jesus and his decision making. In fact, Jesus confuses us a lot. Many of the things he says and does… well, they can be frustrating sometimes.
We see this when he has an encounter with a Samaritan woman at a well. So much about this seems so wrong. Yet, here we are.
To prepare, read John 4:1-42. It’s a long passage, and we will take a few weeks to unpack it. But it is an incredible story that is important for us to understand.
Looking forward to Sunday!
Grace and peace,
Doug
