October 11th News: Serve One Another

October 8, 2015 by · Leave a Comment

This Sunday we will continue our series Love One Another with the command to serve one another.

According to the Bible, God gives gifts to each believer so that he/she and serve others and build up the body. When we use these gifts we can love and serve each other in supernatural ways.

So, what are these gifts? And how can we use them? The apostle Paul talks about spiritual gifts in several of his letter to the early church. His message is as important for us today as it was for them.

To prepare for this week, read 1 Corinthians 12:1-27. As you read, consider this: how has God gifted you to serve others in the body of Christ?

I want to encourage everyone who calls Grace Family Fellowship their church home to commit yourself to coming each week during this series. We are going to discover that we need others and they need us.

Looking forward to Sunday!

Grace and peace,

This week we’re stepping away from Mark and hearing about a ministry headed up by our very own Tim & Katie Adams.

They are going to share what God has been doing in their lives and the ministry Verbo Nicaragua Development Fund. You can learn more about this ministry at www.verbodevelopment.org

I want you all to hear what is going on because we, as a church, are involved in this ministry because two people in our family are involved in the ministry.

We will also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper together.

Grace and peace,
